Senior Project Engineer (CSA)

Our client is a multi-disciplined main contractor operating across the UK and Europe with a turnover of €750m and sustained annual growth of 5%–7.5%. They deliver large-scale, turnkey projects for blue-chip clients, with a strong focus on data centres and other technology-heavy developments.
Due to a recent project win, our client is now seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer (CSA) to join the delivery team on a major data centre project in Frankfurt, Germany. This is a senior site-based role with responsibility for the coordination and delivery of complex civil, structural, and architectural works on a high-value, fast-paced project.

The Role
Reporting to the Project Manager / Construction Manager, the Senior Project Engineer (CSA) will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of the CSA scope in line with programme, quality, and safety requirements. Responsibilities will include:
•    Managing and coordinating civil, structural, and architectural works on site
•    Overseeing subcontractors and ensuring works are delivered to specification
•    Supporting the development and management of the construction programme
•    Ensuring compliance with health & safety, quality, and environmental standards
•    Reviewing drawings, specifications, and technical submissions
•    Coordinating with design, MEP, and commissioning teams to ensure interface management
•    Managing RFIs, technical queries, and site instructions
•    Supporting inspections, testing, and handover activities
•    Reporting progress and issues to senior project leadership

Requirements
•    Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline
•    Significant experience in a Project Engineer or Site Engineer role with a main contractor
•    Strong background in CSA delivery on large-scale projects
(data centres, commercial, pharma, or industrial projects advantageous)
•    Excellent understanding of construction methodologies and sequencing
•    Strong technical, coordination, and problem-solving skills
•    Experience working in fast-track, high-quality build environments
•    Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across disciplines
•    Willingness to be site-based in Frankfurt (relocation or expat package typically available)
